On-Board finished the 2003 calendar year positively as it began, including the strongest 4th quarter that the organization has seen since 1999.  Most of this success is attributable to continued diversification among industries served and consistent growth in all three business units, most notably the Program Management and Technical Staffing service offerings.

One of the statistics that most clearly demonstrates the organizations success is the annualized revenue growth in excess of thirty-seven percent (37%), including the addition of eleven (11) new long term client relationships.  As discussed months ago, this illustrates that the On-Board Business Plan and Vision dating back three (3) years has been a successful undertaking for the organization to date with sustainable growth and diversification at the forefront of the leaderships accomplished goals.

On-Board’s ability to sustain such improved development for 2003 derives from different factors. First and foremost, the addition of Santosh Dewoolkar to the staff as Manager of Operations was a major cornerstone.  Santosh has over 30 years of industry experience, that last 15 years in a Senior Management role from some competing organizations and has enabled On-Board to maintain and effectively manage all three business units.

Second, On-Board has been a hallmark in its industry of quality service and technical professionalism since its inception but the true value of our quality stems from our workforce. Our employees have been honored within our organization as well as our clients from their merited project performance to achievement awards to simply giving service above & beyond the call of duty. Ranging from our “Employee of the Month” program to client award announcements for our domestic & global service, our organization as well as our clients views our personnel as “assets” instead of liabilities.

At the same time, this quality has allowed On-Board to provide the best possible care for its employees, ranging from improving healthcare service to adding college saving plans for their families and long term saving programs. Furthermore, with federal tax cuts and increasing domestic spending, On-Board has been able to capitalize on rising capital expenditures and provide more services for cost efficiency in our full service and managed staffing programs. Our clients seek “more for less” and On-Board can grow with them every step of the way. Yet, how can On-Board turn such rhetoric into a reality?

Program Management and Contract Staffing are the primary vehicles by which On-Board has established this progress. This enables our client’s greater flexibility to not only fulfill their requirements on the job but also have quality personnel working side-by-side without cost or quality deficiencies. Another function of On-Board service also lies within our Full Service division, providing home office capabilities supporting our managed staffing clients but also giving more services in Engineering, Design, Construction Management, Maintenance & Procurement services.

Looking to 2004…

Since 2000, “Looking forward to next year” has been classified by many as wishful thinking since the instability of our economy has been the most consistent business principle over the last 3 years. On-Board, however views this time as an opportunity to upgrade our home offices as well as implement new improvements across the organization for 2004.

Specifically, April represents several milestones for the company.  Most notably April marks On-Board’s 28th year of continued service to industry.  Concurrent with that achievement, On-Board will embark on an emotional farewell to its current home in Edison, New Jersey, leaving behind generations of memories established by family & friends to our new corporate headquarters in West Windsor, NJ. (Exit 8 New Jersey Turnpike)

Additionally, this coming April wraps up a successful first year in the Penn’s Way facility in New Castle Delaware, after having resided in Newark, Delaware for the last 10 years.  Upon completion of the move we anticipate having an open house for both employees and clients in the Summer of 2004.

Finally, among the multitude of highlights for the upcoming year, On-Board begun to implement  a nationwide Business Associate Program, which consistent with the addition of Sales and Marketing office presence in Great Neck, New York, will carry the same methodology to 3 new locations across the United States.  This endeavor’s focus is to continue to grow the revenue, industries served, and number of client relationships.  The site planning for these new locations is nearly complete and will be announced soon.

Hopefully 2004 will be as successful a year as 2003.  This will only be achieved by holding true to a vision of our business model, the efforts of our staff, and the continued commitment of our clients.  I will strive to motivate each and every person in the organization to match our recent success and exceed our own expectations.  Best Wishes on a prosperous New Year.
